Had a very interesting dogwalk.
My dogs were off leach. Two really big Estrela mountain dogs, roughly 55-60kg each, were hidden in the gore at the side of our way, wanted to show off and came closer - 3, 2, then 1m only.
Vinny ran a bit back and waited watching the scene. He was attacked by one of them months ago... Bibi stood by my side, ready to attack, he growled.
I made the Crocodile Dundee, stared the first Estrela down, he bowed, lowered tail, and turned around. Then I stopped Bibi growling and stared the next one down. He turned around.
When we left they wanted to come after us, but I turned around fast enough to let them know I am aware, they shall not try any nonsense. Then they both disappeared in the gore.
Meanwhile I am really coldblooded in these situations, but it wasn't always like that... 😂
The first surprise meeting I had 3 yrs ago with a pack of 6 big free dogs + my 4 Chihuahuas. But the little ones were so cool, they taught me how to handle it.
