Other news-ish personalities treat the opposing views and the people who hold them as "deplorable", and they aren't afraid to say so, ad nauseum. Rachel Maddow, John Oliver, anyone on The View... Tucker saying we should ridicule "them" is EXACTLY the same thing. It's not okay for anyone, but I'll bet you have more sympathy for the ones you agree with, even though they are all behaving equally badly.
