I think a better format for the PGA Tour Championship would be for golfers to start the tournament with varied numbers of mulligans, instead of strokes under par. It would be less of an advantage than the current format, since a golfer playing well might not need mulligans and a golfer taking a mulligan might repeat a poor shot. Perhaps there should be no more than one mulligan allowed per hole and no putting mulligans. They could rename the golf tournament with an appropriately goofy name like The Mulligan Championship.
