Context: Getting my late diagnosis several years ago and working with my therapist… has helped open my eyes to social situations like these in everyday life.

Before? I likely would have awkwardly tried to mask and not said what I meant to say, and ended up in a text chat I didn’t want to be in.

Now? I can be myself, be honest, and not set boundaries. I can prevent myself from being in an awkward situation.
