Kid intentionally removed the “r” from “Golden Gate Bidge” today, thinking it sounded funny. After an initial “Whudjoocallme?!?” stare, I found it funny too, though not for a kidlike reason.

Now I can’t stop thinking about “The Brooklyn Bidge,” “Bidge Over Troubled Water,” “Bidge Better Have My Money…”

Think that last one’s a trifle harsh? Well, they are expensive to build, in return for the hope of economic prosperity for otherwise disconnected regions.

But that could be a Bidge Too Far…
