You mentioned losing entire communities when Twitter shit the bed as an inspiration for building something better. That resonates. I lost touch with a lot of friends when I quit the dumpster fire that is Facebook and that motivates a lot of the work that I'm doing too. Mostly to build social tools that we can control rather than corpos.
