Everyone is assuming the "eyes hurt" google searches are due to individual failures, but I wonder how much of it is the fact that Amazon and other companies were apparently selling a lot of fake, dangerous eclipse glasses, and it took some amount of effort to figure out how I could even know if I was using a real one. Also I'm not sure if everyone was aware you aren't supposed to use eclipse glasses for too long and they don't provide complete protection
