I’m abusing this old SSD so hard even a daily fstrim can’t keep up — only mount -o discard (continuous trim) is preserving performance, even though the folk wisdom means people will crop up just to yell at you for enabling it
and yes I’m posting this mostly to see who wants to yell at me about linux shit today
oh and the SSD’s on the kernel queued trim blocklist so you’d imagine performance would be awful
