I doubt you'll find the peace you're looking for in Greek mythology.
Kronos, a Titan, so feared his children that he ate them. His youngest, Zeus, was hidden from Kronus by Rhea, his mother. When Zeus grows up, he tricks his father and rescues his siblings. Afterwards, Zeus leads a war against his father and wins.
Even in this origin story, a father essentially kills his own children out of fear and then is killed by his own children.
Why does he fear his own children? Because Kronos killed his own father, Uranus, at the behest of Gaia.
origin stories explain why the world is so messed up. World peace is an ideal that exists in the beginning of these stories when there was nothing. Once there is something, that's when jealousy and violence kick off.
