This is your regular reminder that, unlike some other herbs, there is no flavor difference between the stem and leaves of cilantro. So if a recipe calls for chopped fresh cilantro, there is no need to de-stem it. Just chop it all up; the stems even provide a nice texture contrast as a garnish!
(This is of course not even touching on whether your brain is wired to find cilantro repulsive or not.)
