Surreal experience today in the land of #bitcoin. Came for the surf, but today was able to buy lunch at a local restaurant, they used strike (nprofile…9pf8), had to teach em about lightning payments as they provided an on chain address which took 10 minutes to clear. Shortly after I purchased all my groceries for a BBQ, and on my way to the fish market I had the opportunity to treat my daughter to some amusement park rides utilizing the original cryptocurrency.
