so, there were 3 big arse bumblebees feeding on my red currant bush.
two of them got into a tiff -- they were too close together. they noticed each other when i accidentally bumped the bush; did I make one of them "say" something to the other? i hope not!
anyway, they left each other alone briefly
then one PICKED THE OTHER FUCKING UP and flew him about 20m away and up, then DROPPED HIM.
i wish i had been able to film it, it was so amazing
any bee behaviour experts out there who might have witnessed similar behaviour and are able to explain it? it felt like the bee equivalent of professional wrestling
