Today I migrated my 10 year old NAS server to a new motherboard powered by Intel N100. After the transplant, Unraid didn't want to boot from USB drive. This trick from a forum post from 2021 solved it.
Lesson learned: when you solve a problem, make sure it's indexable for future us!
