In Jan 2020 my kidneys failed.
Since then, I've been almost entirely isolated at home, since the root cause was lupus, and my immune system is still being rebuilt. COVID would kill me.
I have never been happier.
I get my social interaction through the internet and with my husband. I game a bit - MMOs - so I interact with other people in a virtual environment as well as on forums, chat, or Mastodon.
I love it.
This works for me. I don't WANT to go out and deal with people at all.
