Caught a chicken sneaking into one of my outbuildings and I discovered a cache of about three dozen eggs in various states of decay. Thankfully a raccoon or something had eaten some of them.
I know one shouldn't look a gift chicken in the beak but if these white leghorns weren't free I wouldn't have any in my flock.
