I’m honoured to have been elected Chairman of the New Zealand Disability Support Network (NZDSN), an association representing many providers of services to disabled people.
It’s a time of uncertainty and transformation for our sector, and I look forward to ensuring provider organisations have a constructive, strong voice to Government and others on the issues that matter.
I’m humbled to be the first disabled person to occupy the role and see this as a recognition by the sector that times are changing and the self-determination of disabled people is critical.
Looking forward to getting to work and making a difference.
