Okay, trying Kdenlive, which seems to take itself more seriously as a video editor.
One of these days I will probably get a wild hair up my arse and try KDE again as a desktop. Every damn time I do, it's a miserable experience, but they deserve as fair a shake as anyone.
Anyway, short video edited and exported in Kdenlive to try to figure it out.
