It's really frustrating the way my family just doesn't engage with my transition. I keep throwing them softballs like commenting about how weird it is to go through puberty at 35 and... nothing.

Sure, they'll talk all day about my siblings kids or my sister's mug rack or the pets or whatever. But the single biggest thing to happen in my life, possibly ever? 🦗 🦗 🦗

I don't know that I should expect anything different or why I keep fishing for interaction. I just keep hoping they'll bite, I guess. I keep hoping that it'll matter to them, that I matter. (Oh, damn... I'm gonna start crying now, aren't I?...)

I should probably stop fishing for interaction but... IDK... that feels like giving up on them all. 😢
