Amber Grey on Nostr: When I was just exploring instruments, I felt a lot more confident about my abilities ...
When I was just exploring instruments, I felt a lot more confident about my abilities as a guitarist. Now that I’m more focused on electric guitar, I am surprised at how I really feel it hard when all the “legendary” guitar lists I come across only feature men. I end up feeling like I don’t belong. I’m still a singer-songwriter first. But I want more female/non-binary/trans guitarists in my world, and some who are also living well and paying the bills with their music.
