Tax question that I cant seem to find a real good answer on. I freelance and self contract. There is one weekly gig that I drive almost 200 miles each week. I know I can deduct mileage. What if I rent a cheap car instead of using my truck and sucking gas wear and tear etc. Is that allowed as a deduction? The rental cost? I know it is if I am on a trip.
