That's a weird picture. The OR was always full of people for big surgeries. Sometimes all three shifts would come and go while still standing at that table.

I have bilateral tiny varicose veins above both knees from leaning against OR tables for hours and decades.

Maybe they lost the patient. We never lost one. If they made it to the OR alive they left alive, with a good repair.
