One of the many things I love about mail voting, along with the convenience and boost to turnout, is the paper trail. I sent in my ballot early this week, and yesterday, confirmed on the Oregon Secretary of State's website that it has been received. If there had been any problem, I could arrange a replacement ballot and protect my vote, but there wasn't. It all went perfectly.
Don't let a few zealots or local issues fool you: mail voting rocks. It's easy, secure, and it works.
