Anecdata: I estimate easily 10000km on my bike tires. The front one didn't appreciably change last year on a 1500km trip, the new rear one (3 years old) I killed over 50km because of stupidity, discarded before failure out of caution.
With that data point, and with car tires being more than 5x as wide, I think cars still win even with your number.
