I've been thinking about the IWF's refusal to help us moderate child porn, "because it could expose child porn"
Well, if we "exposed" it, I strongly believe regular people would seek out and destroy it immediately.
Then it occurred to me. The IFW believes that would NOT happen. They believe there's a chance people might say "child porn, you say? give me more of that!" Hmm... I wonder why they would think that. Takes one to know one?
It's not just that they want to hoard all the child porn to themselves. They think it's a precious resource that is highly sought after by many people, and that's why it needs to be kept behind a lock and key. When in actuality vigilantes would put a complete stop to it overnight if given to relevant information, something the government cannot do or refuses to do.

quoting note1a79…5uwzNCMEC and IWF are both NGOs tho. I don’t think you could legally operate an organisation like that without the blessing of the government.
