I need to modify coreboot's ifdtool for this, but the code quality in ifdtool is horrible. I re-factored it once before, but they've updated it a lot since. I re-started from scratch. Implementing cleaner coding style in ifdtool, and I'll send patches to coreboot.
I might end up forking it, to ifdutil in libreboot's lbmk.git
