For the second day #Poland and #Ukraine transport business organizations continue negotiations about the situation on the border and on the EU transport market. Polish side, including the leader of the protest Mekler, said they were finally being "taken serious" and the talks with the business are "much more productive than with the government".

I suspect part of the stalemate in previous talks was caused by thr fact that the Ukrainian government side didn't really feel responsible for the drivers violating the EU rules, who were private entrepreneur, and lacked legal instruments to control them. It doesn't mean they couldn't take leadership in the talks, which I suspect they finally did.
It's silly that it took half year of the protests and two of the blockade, but it gives some hopes if Poland and Ukrainian business circles do learn how to talk to each other, rather than simply arrogantly pretend they're in their right to do whatever they like.
