Hot take: Content moderation at scale is going to be one of the unsolvable problems of the internet forever. There is never going to be a solution that meets everyone's desire to only see some content and to not see other content. It's impossible to find enough money to pay the number of humans to moderate all the content, and it's equally impossible to find enough volunteer mods to put in sustainable emotional labor to moderate the amount that is needed.

Oh sure, different sites and services will come up with their respective niches and make the problem "less bad" for their corner of the internet, but it will never be a "solvable" problem.
