According to my stats on eBird, I have submitted 204 checklists of birds I've seen. Somehow, though, I'm not a very good birder. I'll walk through a hot spot and see lots of common birds, and then I'll see someone else posted a checklist from the same spot just a few hours before or after me and they saw all kinds of birds I have never once seen e.g. Northern Harrier, Red-headed Woodpecker, or Sharp-shinned Hawk. I think I need a birding mentor! #birding
