It used to be the opposite. The extreme right was in power. They were banning abolition, censoring speech, lying us into wars, getting maturity ratings added to rock music, killing other Christians. The left was speaking truth to power. Pendulum swung extreme left. Now it’s swinging right again. Let’s hope it doesn’t swing too far.
