EVs seem like a good fit for suburbs, including multi family housing without dedicated charging stations. Plenty of range for shopping, errands, reasonable commutes even at the lower end for range.
I'm seeing charging stations at grocery stores and other shopping destinations, which makes sense for topping up or ideally for fairly fast charging. The one I'm surprised to not really see is charging stations at fast food restaurants - attended locations with a good reason for people to come for maybe half an hour, no real incentive to stay long term because who wants to hang out at a fast food place, extra revenue from visitors and a reason for them to choose that location.
