Despite the lack of algorithms I can still see a potential harmful side to my nostr use.
Interactions might be generally positive and breed far less toxicity than other platforms however there is still a flaw that I do not see how any social protocol can be free from and that is putting some level of control over your emotional state in to the hands of strangers.
Interactions on notes are always going to feel good and random hits of dopamine are always going to be addictive.
I do not see a way in which nostr fixes this.
It is up to us to use nostr in a way that is additive to our lives.
There is tremendous benifit to what this protocol provides but no powerful tool is without its dangers.
