It’s economic.

Life(definition) demands energy for the least effort.

Physical energy is for all observable life, from humans to amoebas, necessary for life.

No observable life exists in the absence of energy.

Life is a byproduct of stored energy.

Life’s ability to manipulate energy creates consciousness. (More explanation deserved - it will probably take a metaphor to understand it)

Consciousness manipulates electrons to make Bitcoin.
