i used to be a hobby chemist, this already happened to me 20 years ago as almost all the fun stuff got taken off the shelves

these days you can't do anything that doesn't include prepackaged, contaminated shit, few things remain... we still have sodium hydroxide for unclogging drains banked up with human hair, at least haha that's about all i got at this point... can't find washing soda anymore so i just use a spoonful of NaOH instead and my clothes are nice and clean, just have to be careful not to put too much or it unglues some tshirt prints... what's the alternative? the Lord only knows what is in the laundry products and at least half of them cause me skin reactions
