I just remembered that I have a cable that has a display showing the Wattage going through it; with the provided Purism-branded 20A wall wart, it flickers between 9W and 10W; same as the PinePower was reading (5*1.8=9). So that all seems about right.

I'll definitely try resetting the battery though.
