As long as it remains spam, then it’s just a mostly harmless use of block space. I don’t like it personally, but bitcoin thankfully doesn’t care what I prefer.
As a vehicle for stuffing the chain with 100s of megs of universally intolerable content (use your imagination) as a malicious attack to shape public sentiment of bitcoin and delay adoption, I do think that’s a real concern.
I hope I’m wrong. Just trying to think adversarially.
