As a real person, no. But usually it's a character who wants to be written about and pesters me to do so. Sometimes they emerge from a flash fic, sometimes from my pondering over something I read (What if?) and sometimes they appear while I had planned to write about someone else. I talk to them, they sit on my shoulders and even if the WIP is on hiatus, they are still there, in the background.
I'm weird, I know.
