The Dutch Parliamentary committee for Justice & Security demanded that the cabinet (administration) shares the advice they received from various departments about #ChatControl. They want this before the minister votes in favor of it in the EU. And because the current cabinet is a clusterfuck, they agree to do this. That would never have happened under teflon Rutte. And it's a good thing.
That said, this is in start constrast with how Parliament behaved yesterday when they banned cash. It goes to show that they don't recognize financial privacy as a human right, or at least don't understand the overlap between financial mass surveillance and communication mass surveillance. But both are equally dangerous.

Dus nu weer het unicum dat er stukken geleverd moeten worden, vergelijkbaar met de asielcrisis.
