In my idea back then the difficulty would be based on the real racially segregated legal systems in Dutch law back then. easy mode would be to play as a European editor (slap on the wrist or pulled issues for infractions), medium difficulty would be to play as a Chinese editor (short jail time or held in shackles for infractions), hard mode would be to play as a bumiputera editor (possible exile, closure of paper, hard labour on chain gang for infractions).
