While it references OSS, it feels like it is an attempt to re-politicise technology and role it plays in our lives.
I think it’s ultimately going to be more fruitful than just wishing things being open source will result in pro social outcomes, because OSS is clearly not designed for that. Yet many techies, absent anything else, seem to project many values on to OSS that simply aren’t really there in the licenses.
