One the co-owners of the comic shop I went to as a kid, Monkey's Retreat in Columbus Ohio, just died. Darryl Mendelson and his brother started a lot of the cool stuff in Columbus (Comfest!) and did a lot of good. They are partially responsible for my personality and I am sad to see him go.
