I recently read "The Me You Love in the Dark" by Skottie Young and Jorge Corona. It's a haunted house story with many of the classic haunted house tropes, but mixed together in a fresh way that touches on themes of addiction, domestic abuse, and depression. Young is always a great storyteller, and the beautiful, clean artwork dances around the page, with loving details of the interior of the Victorian house where the story is set.
