Livescribe has these new $50 "LivePens" that are more compact and seem intuitively maybe a little sturdier? It's tempting.
Meanwhile the Neo Smartpen company seems to actually understand the importance of look and feel, with nicer stationery options and a pen with actual gel ink. But it sounds like their OCR is worse.
