It seems like the dorpers do have a little more meat on them than the Katahdins, especially in the legs. And people really like their leg of lamb at holiday times. I’ve also heard that they can need more medical attention, but I’ve also talked to shepherds who are really hands off with them and have bred a pretty resilient flock, by culling those that need medical attention frequently.
