Imagine a contemporary alternative to the term 'kosher' as a way to judge foods and cooking practices.
Instead of saying this or that is "good for you", we would have a more religiously loaded term, such that it can be passed through generations without a need to know the complicated reasons behind each rule. These days you need to go deep into some nutrition and lifestyle rabbit hole. Unless you want to get poisoned.
Probably that term would become outdated and corrupt over time but it would be better than nothing.
