There's no useful rhyme, sorry, but there's an almost logic to it.
The range (sort of) covers the temperatures at which humans can easily survive. Zero is below freezing, but still survivable (debatable). 100 is about where you need water and shelter before you die.
Fifty is below comfortable room temp, but not too bad.
The closer you get to 100, the more uncomfortable you are.
That's the best I can do. Logic doesn't apply to F.
