I finally finished the Lady of Vines. I'm not sure painting her core early was worth it, and it may have made assembling the model more difficult.
Which it didn't need as it was pretty difficult to begin with, since the instructions are vague and not all pieces had a satisfying "click" to let you know you found the right spot.
