"content": "I started with just my basic block, shifted the narrowness and fit from all the side seams to little darts in the middle of the five gores, so I can hopefully let it out as I'll inevitably widen out some as I age. The smooth fit over the hips means that you can't really future-proof the entire fit that much even if you're using wider seam allowance! And it's much easier to unpick and let out a dart than smooth out all skirt seams all the way around. I hope.\nI also added this little sweeping back gore, to make more room for the hips and movement! And more hem, just because.
