I ended up initially writing about 80% of my Nests notification bot in bash, because that's what I'm familiar with and use on a daily basis. However, it just wasn't working as expected and I could not figure it out. So, I jused ChatGPT to covert it all over to Python. I'm a beginner with Python, but it works! It's probably a terrible hackjob, but it works dammit! Well, at least for now, until someone breaks it 😅
