Libertarians seem to fantasize that the ruling class will surrender power willfully through democracy, while continuing to use violence to maintain only restrained functions, and do so solely for the benefit of the people they claim to serve.
All of which continues to violates the Non-aggression Principle in the name of libertarianism, and continues the lie that rulers serve. _Rulers lie, kill, and steal._ That's the toolkit of the State.
Even should such libertarian dreams be achieved:
## A minarchy is merely the larval stage of an empire.
... So libertarians at best just kick the can down the road for another generation to deal with.
I think we can do better.
