Truck guns are an important item to be prepared. Most folks only carry a handgun on them, if anything. That will likely not be enough to make it back home in a bad situation. Many folks put a smaller rifle with a number of spare mags in their vehicle as a backup to their carried handgun. AR & AK pistols are excellent choices for this.
